Real Life Sample! Campaign Flyers for School Board!

These successful color print postcards were passed around the neighborhood by walking door to door.

They contain 2 key parts that a campaign postcard must have:

  • The candidate’s name should be most clear and obvious.  If a voter does not know the candidate’s name, that candidate will not be able to earn that vote.
  • The date and place of the election (how to cast a ballot) should be second, clear and obvious.  If a voter does not know when to cast their vote, no one can earn it.

They also contain 3 parts that a campaign postcard might have:

  • Value statements
  • Goal statements
  • Relevant biographical statements

Many more tips are always being added to the How to Run for School Board manual.

After developing these three key parts of the campaign flyer, a campaign slogan can be formed by choosing specific words from each section.   More tips and tricks can be found  in the  How to Run for School Board manual.
